l purchased the medium which doesn't have the pillow top. lts perfect for me as a stomach sleeper who enjoys a moderately firm mattress. Mom used to say spend the extra money and be satisfied with your purchase or buy a new mattress every couple of years. The choice is clear.

I have been a longtime fan of Stearns & Foster and purchased the Estate Soft Pillowtop Mattress in September. Unfortunately, it has been the most disappointing mattress I've ever owned. The description claims that upgrading provides "enhanced pressure relief," but my experience has been the exact opposite.
While the center of the mattress offers comfortable support, the sides sag into a firm dip, creating added pressure on the very areas that need relief. This is especially problematic for someone like me, who has rheumatoid arthritis and requires consistent, well-balanced support. Instead of relieving pressure, this mattress exacerbates discomfort.
I had high expectations based on my loyalty to the brand, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. Regrettably, this will be my last Stearns & Foster purchase.

We recently inherited a previous bed that was a stearns and foster mattress and it was finally time to get a new one, leading us to buy the brand ourselves! Just firm enough to support your body but just soft enough to let you sink in and feel comforted. Perfect for peak firmness in the beginning to perfect softness once fully broken in years down the road. The last mattress lasted 15 years and still had some life left in it if we wanted it to! Definitely a life long buyer!

Was told that your mattress was the best and most comfortable on the market well that's not true. It's like sleeping on a board... If I had it do again I would never purchase it way overpriced for little or no comfort....

For years I have heard that Stearns & Foster beds were top of the line in younger years we always felt we are good, we don't need that at our age! Well, our miscalculation, beds without the proper support, # of springs, quality material makes the difference. At 70 & 67 yrs of age and active seniors, getting up in the morning started with an aching back, hips and a lot of stretching all day long. After one month with our new mattress we continue to feel improvement daily. We are very grateful to feel this improvement in our body and only wish we had been smarter sooner.

We had a very old mattress and I was waking up with hip and shoulder pain. My husband was also waking with shoulder pain. We shopped for mattresses for a long time. I knew this mattress was right for me the first time I sat on it. I was hesitant to purchase this mattress because I prefer a firm mattress and my husband prefers a softer memory foam mattress. It took me a year to make a decision. The estate firm with pillow top was a compromise. We were advised the first few weeks the mattress may feel too stiff. However, it only took about 3 to 4 nights for us to settle in. I no longer wake up with hip or shoulder pain and neither does my husband. We are very pleased with this purchase. I absolutely love this new mattress.

I have had the mattress for about 3 weeks now and every morning I wake up refreshed and ready to start the day. With my previous mattress, I woke up with a stiff back and it took me a while to "wake up". Not with this mattress. We looked at several types of mattresses in the showroom-laid on all of them and this was the most comfortable one. It has just the right amount of firmness yet is still comfortable.

The best mattress I have ever slept on. Never in my seventy years have I slept better than on my Stearns and Foster firm pillow top mattress. It doesn't just support my body it cuddles it in a way that I wake up refreshed and without any muscle pain or soreness. It is by far the best bang for your buck. Sleeping on this mattress is a total life changer. I cannot recommend it enough.

Chose this mattress after trying it out in the showroom. When mine was delivered it was not the same comfort level as the one in the showroom. I have to keep it for 90 days before I can exchange it. I don't sleep wake up with neck and headaches EVERYDAY. The mattress in the showroom is 2years old and must be made different or needs that long to "wear in". I don't use the bed until I am dead tired. Might as well sleep on the floor. I can't sleep on my side at all.

This is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever owned. I was told it takes time to "break it in," well, its been 1 year I wake up with all kinds aches and pain. I would like recommend this to anyone! The cost of this mattress, it should feel like sleeping on a cloud! I will not buy this brand again.

Given the price and the reputation of Stearns and Foster, I am disappointed. Within a few months there was noticeable sagging in areas where we sleep. In stead of support, we feel like we are sleeping in a ditch. For a premium brand, we expected quality and durability. The warranty process is a hassle and to find out this isn't covered under warranty. This is not a quality product. I don't mind paying for quality since I planned on keeping it at least 10 years. Don't waste your money on this brand. It was expensive and I will have to replace this soon.

Had this mattress for a little over a year. It now has 2 dips about 2 inches deep on each side. We bought mattress and base together but was told they would not warranty product due to improper base. Not sure what to do when it was bought as a set. Don't waste your hard earned $.

We selected our new mattress after a bit of research, but we stuck with Stearns and Foster. Our new mattress is a wonderful replacement for our old mattress with the new Euro top over the firm mattress. It is so comfortable and great for my back and the rest of my body. It provides a wonderful night's sleep.
The white glove delivery was also wonderful!

Our new mattress is a pillowtop firm and has the desired support level I was looking for. Our only complaint would be that the mattress is so heavy, that tucking the sheets in is a bit of a chore. My wife has found that a wooden spatula is very useful to accomplish this.
